Nancy Jean Dawe

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our Mother, Nancy Dawe on May 21 2024, at the age of 87. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side.

Nancy was born in Boston on January 2, 1937. She spent most of her life residing in Medfield. In 1999, she retired to Mashpee with her husband, and more recently, she has been living in Pocasset.

Nancy’s legacy is lovingly carried on by her sister, Phylis Allen and her children: Richard Dawe, Sheree Kaminski, Pam Pulley, Mike Dawe, Jody Braun, and Heidi Hamburger. Her spirit will forever be cherished in the memories of her 9 grandchildren: Kim, Heather, Tim, Meghan, Keri, Nicole, Jacob, Emma, Paige, and her 10 great-grandchildren: Christian, Eliza, Paris, Ethan, Lucas, Ryleigh, Nicholas, Charlotte, Robert, and Autumn.

Nancy’s husband, Joseph Dawe, preceded her in death.

Nancy’s memory is a treasure that remains undimmed. In her younger years, Nancy found joy in painting, camping, gardening, baking, and her adoration for all animals reflected her boundless love for life. She loved the holidays, a time for family to share laughter and stories of years gone by. The simple pleasure of sharing lunches with her family will be deeply missed but always remembered.

As we bid farewell to Nancy, we find solace in knowing that she rests in peace, reunited with her late husband Joseph and her mother, Bernice.
