

Born in Plainville, MA, he was the son of the late Herman and Mable (Fied) Fielding. He served in the United States Army as a MP.
Bob had worked as a polisher at Plainville Stock Company and he later became the owner of B&F Polishing until his retirement.
He enjoyed many hours of fishing on his boat and also on the banks of the canal. He was a member of St. Vincent DePaul where he was active with the food pantry ministry. He also had volunteered many hours at the nursing home ministry.
In addition to his wife of 45 years, he is survived by two nephews, Christopher Martin and Brett Martin and 4 great nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Herbert Fielding.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday June 17, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish 324 Quaker Meeting House Road East Sandwich. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery Attleboro, MA. Visitation Tuesday 5 – 8 p.m. at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 154 Route 6A Sandwich, MA. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his memory may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society in care of Corpus Christi Parish 324 Quaker Meeting House Road East Sandwich, MA 02537.
