Wendy Ruth Oslund

Wendy will be remembered for the steady care she showed to those around her and for a spirit that found comfort and meaning in the simple, enduring gifts of the world—people, nature, animals, and the quiet strength of trees. In the presence of family and friends, her regard for others was evident, and her appreciation for the natural world reflected a life attentive to what is living and lasting.

Wendy was predeceased by her father, Robert Oslund, and her mother, Claudia Barrows (Wolfe). She is survived by her life partner, Daniel Beers; her son, Jason Oslund (wife Cortney) of Sandwich, MA; her daughter, Brittany Oslund (husband) Justin Washington Jr. of Sandwich, MA; her step daughters, Jessica Dwyer (husband James) and Special Hailey DeSilvia; her sisters, Sandra Murphy (Oslund), Susan Oslund, and Cindi Drew (Barrows); her brothers, Robert Oslund and Earnie Barrows; eight grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A, Sandwich, MA 02563, on May 21, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Burial will take place on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 10am at the Sandwich Town Cemetery.
