Angeline Wudeck Cresswell

Angeline Wudeck Cresswell, 95, of Atlanta died Thursday, the 17th of October, 2013. She had resided at the Park Springs Retirement Community in Stone Mountain for the past eight years. Angie was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church since 1957. Before marriage and raising her family, she served as the Executive Assistant to the President of the Chicago Savings and Loan. Angie was an active volunteer involved in many community organizations. She was most importantly a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Angie was preceded in death by her husband of fifty one years, Robert Harris Cresswell. Surviving are her daughters and son-in-law, Joan and Bill Johnson of Grayson, Barbara Myers of Snellville; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Leigh Cresswell of Marietta; grandchildren, Christa, Cheryl, Julie, and Rob Johnson, Katie (Logan) Weber, John McGarity, Ang and Allie Myers, Emery Cresswell, Carleigh (Parker) Whitaker; and two great-grandchildren, Ava and Anna Weber. Funeral services celebrating Angie’s life will be held Saturday, the 19th of October at three o’clock at Patterson’s Arlington Chapel. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Friends are cordially invited to visit with the family Saturday afternoon from two o’clock until the hour of service at H.
