

The funeral graveside service for Anne Christian Willingham will be held January 17, 2026 at St James cemetery in Marietta Georgia. Mrs Willingham passed away peacefully on Monday January 5th at 8am. Her sons were with her in her last days to comfort and be with her at her time of passing.
Anne was born on December 20, 1936 in Rome, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mary Zelma Packer Christian and William Clements Christian.
Mrs. Willingham was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dr. Robert Tilton Willingham, Jr and son Clark H. Willingham. She was a long time devoted member of the Cathedral of St Philip and was an active member of the Cathedral Antique Show Board, a volunteer at the information desk, and a member of the Elder Council Board.
She is survived by her five children: Robert Willingham and wife Debbie of Villa Rica, Georgia, Dwight Willingham and wife Lynn of Nashville Tennessee, Kate Willingham Bishop and her husband Tim of Dothan Alabama, Tom Packer Willingham of Atlanta, Georgia, John Claiborne Willingham and his wife Gretchen of Simpsonville, South Carolina as well as her 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister Hilda Christian Sapp of Atlanta and her brother the late Harry Clements Christian and his survived wife Lidell of Rome, Georgia.

Graveside services will be held at St James Episcopal Church Cemetery 139 Polk Street Marietta, Georgia at 1pm Saturday January 17, 2026. A reception will follow the service at Cherokee Town and Country Club at 155 W Paces Ferry Rd NW Atlanta, Georgia 30305.
