Brian was born in Atlanta to the late Charles A. Perry and Betty Stivers Perry on July 5, 1959. Brian attended Woodward Academy through high school and went on to graduate with a degree in Accounting and Business Management from the Terry Business School at the University of Georgia. He was married to Dena for 30 years and together they raised four children - Maggie, Joshua, Abby, and Ted. Brian worked as a Certified Tax Professional, earning the distinction of CMI for his achievement in sales and use tax. He worked at several corporations including his own Perry Tax Service Inc., Georgia Pacific where he worked for 16 years, and later at Gulfstream Aerospace. Brian was a dedicated and supportive father, an avid runner, and an ardent fan of the Georgia Bulldogs. He had an infectious laugh and an endless sense of humor that will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Brian’s strong relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ was evident in his daily life and served as an example for those in his life to emulate. His legacy of hard work, perseverance in the face of adversity, and valuing family above all else will live on through his children and grandchildren.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Betty Perry.
Brian will be forever remembered by his children Maggie (Shelby), Joshua (Cory), Abby (David), and Ted (Lillian) by his brothers Stan (Charley), Mark and Dean (Linda), and by his grandchildren Audrey, Hailey, Callie, and Barrett.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 17th at H.M. Patterson & Son-Arlington Chapel. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
