Charles Morton Levy, 82 of Atlanta and formerly of Columbus, GA, died August 22, 2018. Mr. Levy was born in Columbus and was the son of the late Louis and Anne Levy. He was a strong supporter and contributor to the Columbus business community and enjoyed a successful career in the automobile business from 1955 until his retirement in 2007. Mr. Levy was a member of Shearith Israel Synagogue in Columbus, was a past president of the United Jewish Federation and served on the Board of Directors of First National Bank. He was also an avid golfer and had the great pleasure to travel the world. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his daughter, Dr. Robyn Levy. He is survived by his daughter, Susan Levy; son and daughter-in-law, Jake and Rosesther Levy; son-in-law, Steven Goodman; grandchildren, Elaina, Isabella and Juliana Levy; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Devon Levy; sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Alan Rosenthal; and many other extended family members who he was close with. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Charles Morton Levy to The William Breman Jewish Home, 3150 Howell Mill Rd., NW, Atlanta, GA 30327. Graveside services will be Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 3 o’clock at Arlington Memorial Park with Rabbi Judith Beiner officiating.
