Christopher Edward Pavlik, 51, of Roswell, GA passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2011. Chris graduated from Peachtree High School in 1978, and from the University of Georgia in 1981. He studied journalism and public relations and was a UGA Scholarship Gymnast. Chris was a talented writer and an intellectual who had passions for reading, movies and especially college football. Chris deeply loved his mother, father, sister, brother and nephews,. He was brave, he was honorable, and he was kind. Chris was a loyal friend to many. He will be missed sorely by those who were lucky enough to have him touch their lives. Chris is survived by his mother and father, Edward and Eleanor Pavlik of Dunwoody, GA; his brother, sister-in-law and nephews, Keith, Patty, Max and Drew Pavlik of Marietta, GA; his sister and brother-in-law, Lori and Michael Martell of Dunwoody, and by his girlfriend, Margaret Cooter, of Knoxville, TN. A Funeral Mass will be at All Saints Catholic Church, Dunwoody, on Wednesday, September 7 at 10:30 am.
