Dear Lana and Family,

Earl and I would like to extend our sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved husband and father, Ed. Although our time with him was short, it didn’t take long for us to recognize his genuine goodness and warmth. He earned our deepest respect and we treasured his friendship. May the memory of Ed be a blessing to you and your family and remain in your heart, bringing comfort to your soul.

Our hearts go out to you in your time of loss.  Ed's smile, his sense of humility, and his compassion for others were characteristics which were always appreciated and loved.  One of our favorite memories was the board meeting in Cape Town, where Ed was truly in his element.  His insights on the people, culture, and of course the local wines and food was such a treat and a week we'll always remember.  May his memories warm your heart and bring a smile to your face.  It was an honor to think of Ed as a friend, mentor, and someone who had a positive influence on our lives.
