Janie Alfieri, 68, of Atlanta, died December 23, 2011. Mrs. Alfieri worked as a middle school teacher most recently for Gwinnett County Schools and also taught with St. Jude the Apostle Catholic School and Dekalb County Schools. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Felix Conley Alfieri and is survived by her son, Tony Alfieri (Roni); daughter, Anna Maria Goldstein (Chad); son, Victor Alfieri (Katie); six granddaughters; and sister, Sarah Kolter. A Funeral Mass will be Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 2 o’clock at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 o’clock at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd, NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
