Lucrecia Clark Umstead, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on June 1, 2017. Lucrecia’s quick wit and sweet and kind demeanor was infectious. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Tom, their three children: Lee Smith and her husband, Bart, Tom Umstead, Jr. and his wife, Christine and Dan Umstead. She had a special love for her grandchildren, Sterling and Grace Smith, and was so proud of them both. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Church of the Apostles, 3585 Northside Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30327 with a reception at the church to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mr. Tom’s Heart at 24 Waterford Court, Atlanta, GA 30328 or a charity of your choice.
