

Martine was born on Friday, the 21st of March 1919 in Cowan, Tennessee and delivered by her father, Dr. Ray Callis Bunch and her mother was Elyza Alderson Russell Bunch. Dr. Bunch graduated from Vanderbilt University Medical School in 1916 and established his practice in Cowan, Tennessee. Her family later moved to Nashville, Tennessee where Martine and her sisters, Marcelle and Betty, attended school. Her sisters preceded her in death.
Martine graduated from Ward Belmont College in Nashville, Tennessee and attended Vanderbilt University. During World War II she worked for American Airlines. It was during her tenure with American Airlines that she met William “Mac” McKee who was an Army Air Corps pilot. They lived in Miami, Florida and located to Atlanta, Georgia in the 1940’s.
She began her real estate career in 1958 and worked exclusively in new sales beginning her career with Tomlin Realty in Buckhead which later merged to form Clover Realty. For 18 years she was associated with Bonner Realty handling sales in Indian Hills Country Club and the Huntcliff subdivision. In later years, she was associated with Will Gurley Realtors. She was a member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors and the Atlanta and Georgia Chapters of the Women’s Council of Realtors. In 1981 she was awarded the prestigious Phoenix Award by the Atlanta Board of Realtors for ten years of membership in the Million Dollar Club.
In 1989 the Women’s Council of Realtors selected her as Woman of the Year for her dedication and contributions in real estate. She served on numerous committees for the Atlanta Board of Realtors and the Georgia Association of Realtors.
Martine is a member of the Cherokee Town and Country Club where her husband William “Mac” McKee was a Founding Member.
She is survived by her daughter, Tina McKee Rogers of Fairfax, Virginia and husband Stephen Rogers, granddaughter, Natalie Rogers Martin and husband Dustin Martin and two great grandsons, Case Stephen Martin and Alden Kees Martin of Atlanta, Georgia, niece, Debby Dale Mason of Nashville, Tennessee and nephew Ray Elliott Glenn and his wife Leslie Glenn also of Nashville, Tennessee.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation and reception with the family on Tuesday, the 29th of September from five until seven o’clock in the evening at H.M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road, NE, Sandy Springs, GA. Entombment will be in the Serenity Chapel Mausoleum at Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville, Tennessee at a later date.
