Marvin Ginsburg, of blessed memory, passed away peacefully on the morning of February 1, 2026. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, and lived a life grounded in family, hard work, and strong Jewish values.
Marvin was the devoted husband of Tina (Fineman) Ginsburg for 60 years. Together they built a loving home centered on family, perseverance, and tradition. He was a proud and loving father to his children, Lisa and Robin, and a cherished father-in-law to Marshall and Matthew.
He was a devoted grandfather to Rachel Brooke (Gavin), Zachary Benjamin, and Chelsea Lauren, and a beloved great-grandfather to Marley Blake.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Betty (Rabinowitz) Ginsburg and Sol Buchman; his older brother, Jerry Ginsburg; and his beloved grandson, Blake Scott. He is survived by his younger brother, Dennis Ginsburg and sister-in-law, Alyson. He was the beloved uncle to many nieces and a nephew.
A lifelong entrepreneur, Marvin owned and operated catering and vending businesses for many years, earning the respect of all who knew him for his integrity and work ethic. As a hairdresser in his early years, he was the preferred hairdresser to the entire family. However, his favorite position was in his retirement as a bus driver for Fulton County Schools. He loved interacting with the children and teaching and learning from them. As a younger man, he was also an active member of the Knights of Pythias, serving as a Chandler, and took great pride in his lifelong association with the Pythians.
