Mary Louise Sellars, of Marietta, died July 7, 2023. Mrs. Sellars was born on September 7, 1928 in Lyons, GA and was the daughter of the late Shelton and Mozelle Brantley. She was a beauty queen and participated in many pageants throughout Georgia. In her early adult years she worked for the Toombs County Courts prior to moving to Atlanta. When in Atlanta she met and married Emmett H. Sellars and they enjoyed a 55 Year marriage. Mr. Sellars was an executive with Goodyear Tire Company and they lived in Ohio for some time prior to coming back to Atlanta. Mrs. and Mr. Sellars enjoyed traveling and traveled the world. Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Emmett and is survived by her sons, Mike Sellars, Tim Sellars; daughter, Cathy Larsen; and grandchildren, Shelton Sellars, Holland Larsen, Christean Whitney. Burial services will be private at a later date.
