Moises “Moe" Dominguez, 22, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018, surrounded by the unceasing love of his family and friends. His hospital room overflowed with the deep affection he inspired in all who met him.
He is survived by his devoted parents, Moises and Fiona Dominguez, his adoring siblings David, Teresa and Sean Michael, his maternal grandmother Ramona and her husband Roy Bowser, his paternal grandfather Juan Dominguez and his extended family including aunts, uncles and cousins.
As an avid movie-goer with a great imagination, Moe’s favorite films included Teen Titans Go! To The Movies, Batman The Killing Joke, The Purge, and Terminator: Genesis. He was a fan of anything scary and particularly enjoyed attending Dragon Con and Fright Fest every year. Moe was larger than life so it’s no surprise that he loved superheroes such as The Hulk, Batman, Harley Quinn, and Chance. He particularly enjoyed music and some of his favorite singers were Kenny Rogers, Trace Atkins and Selena Gomez, just to name a few.
Moe's family would like to thank the following people:
Father Paul, our spiritual rock and an amazing human being.
Helene, Kristen, Ellen and Peggy, and the Lekotek staff who help countless children with special needs and their families here in Georgia.
Coach Leo and the volunteers from the Christopher League.
Coaches Rob, Gina, Anna, Jon and all the volunteers from Top Soccer.
All of his teachers who were so special to him and remain so to his family.
Everyone who cut their vacations short and rushed to be by Moe’s bedside. It means the world to us.
@KennyRogers - Moe loved talking to you at Chastain Park. You are a kind soul and you lit up his life. He was one of your biggest fans!
Because Moe is an organ donor, as many as 60 families will receive a call about a possible organ match. Our wonderful Moe will live on through them, as well as in the hearts and minds of all those fortunate enough to know him. We will always be truly made better by his presence.
Finally, we’d like to thank Dr. Patterson, Dr. McCracken, Dr. Settle the amazing nurses Erica, Andrea, Brittany, Jessica, Tabitha, Veronica, Julie, and Macy and the Lifelink Foundation team. The organ donor honor walk through the halls of the hospital was so special and Moe was smiling down watching it.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 30, at 6 p.m. at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel at 173 Allen Road, NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Saturday, December 1, at 10:30 a.m. followed by the interment and a reception. Holy Spirit is located at 4465 Northside Drive, NW, Atlanta, GA 30327.
