

Paula Marie Frederick, 84, of Atlanta died on Wednesday, the 20th of August 2014. She was born on the 19th of September, 1929, in New Orleans, LA and died of complications brought on after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2010. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Surviving are her husband of 68 years, Richard Frederick; sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Roxanne Frederick of Scottsdale, AZ, Kerry and Meg Frederick of Sandy Springs; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Jacquelyn and spouse Chris Ramsdale and children, Ava, Parks, and Nathan of Palo Alto, CA; Chris and spouse Mariko Frederick of Encinitas, CA; Lauren Hill and children, Michael and Emma of Sandy Springs; Julia and spouse Matt Leech and son, Matthew of Atlanta. Paula’s first priority was to her family whom she loved dearly and spent the majority of her time raising her sons, providing support for their endeavors and being actively involved with her grandchildren who all were born in the Atlanta area. She entered the workplace at the United States Treasury Department where she held management positions over a 23 year period. Memorial services will be held at eleven o’clock Saturday the 23rd of August at H. M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road, NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Friends are cordially invited to visit with the family starting at ten o’clock. Entombment will be private.
