

Peter P. Kehoe, 78 of Dunwoody, GA, passed away July 29, 2011. Mr. Kehoe was born and raised in West Pawlett, Vermont. He graduated from St. Michaels College in Winooski, Vermont. Colonel Kehoe served 24 years of dedicated service in The United States Air Force. He was a Vietnam War Veteran, and retired as a Full Colonel from the USAF out of the Pentagon. He was a decorated veteran and was awarded the Bronze Star, and the Legion of Merit. After his retirement from the Air Force Mr. Kehoe served as Director of Administration for Booz Allen & Hamilton in the Atlanta area, and later would work for the law firm of Robinson, Donovan, Madden, and Barry in Springfield, Massachusetts. He also worked in development for the Springfield, Massachusetts YMCA. He resided as a board member of Sisters of Providence Health System in Springfield, MA, and a board member of Our Lady Of Elms College, Chicopee, Massachusetts. Mr. Kehoe was a member of Leadership Atlanta, was a board member of Saint Joseph’s Hospital Mercy Care, and active in the development of Southern Catholic College in Dawsonville, GA. Colonel Kehoe was awarded numerous achievements over the years. He was honored to receive the Paul Harris Fellowship Award with Rotary International for his efforts in the community. Mr. Kehoe leaves a legacy of service, and involvement to God, Family, Country, and Community. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Rita Kehoe of Dunwoody; son Tim Kehoe of Norton, MA; daughter Peg Kehoe of Dunwoody, GA; grandchildren Mike Kehoe, Meaghan Kehoe, and Danny Kehoe all of Norton, MA; sister Mary Alice Kehoe of Ludlow, Vermont. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, August 1, 2011 at All Saints Catholic Church in Dunwoody. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, July 31, 2011 from 6 to 8 PM with a Rosary service starting at 7 PM.
