I just learned of Rita's passing as I was doing Google searches about people from the past. Rita was my god mother and I saw her and her parents often in the 1950's when I was growing up in Rochester, NY.  I remember Rita as a kind, gentle, caring person.  She was very different from the troubled people of my immediate family.  I valued her even more for that reason. 

My belated condolences to her children and family members.
