Raised in Dunwoody, Bob was a proud graduate of Dunwoody High School and received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Georgia, where he built lifelong friendships and nurtured the curiosity and drive that shaped his life. Bob was a successful real estate investor, known for his sharp insight, steady work ethic, and genuine interest in helping others build their futures.
Bob married the love of his life, Maja Elisabeth (Lentz) Gottlieb, in May 2000. Their partnership was one of deep devotion, shared laughter, and unwavering support. Together, they built a life filled with warmth, adventure, and a strong sense of home.
A true dog lover, Bob found joy and companionship in the many pets who were part of his life over the years. His kindness, humor, and easygoing nature made him someone people naturally gravitated toward. He will be remembered for his generosity, his loyalty, and the way he made others feel.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, William and Peg and his older brother Billy. Bobby is survived by his wife Maja, his nephews George and Erich Salinas and Matthew Graham and his sweet puppy Boba. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will continue to live on in the lives he touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held at H M Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel, located at 173 Allen Rd NE, Sandy Springs, Georgia, on February 27, 2026 at 2:00 PM with a reception to follow.
