Sandra Apruzzese

Sandra Inez Tennant Apruzzese, 84, of Suwanee, passed away November 23, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born to the late Thomas Earl and Chloe Inez Tennant on November 7, 1938 in Augusta, Georgia. Sandra graduated from North Augusta High School Class of 1956.

Sandra married the love of her life Vincent Apruzzese, Sr. on August 29, 1959 and they began their beautiful 63 year marriage. As a military family they moved over 18 times and through it all, Sandra was the glue that held the family together. Sandra is survived by her loving husband and her two children, Debra Apruzzese of Suwanee and Vincent Apruzzese, Jr. (Mary) of Richmond, Virginia. She is also survived by five grandchildren and one great grandson.

Sandra devoted herself to her family. She had a fun and spunky zest for life and made it her goal to make everyone around her laugh. Always happy to be the center of attention captivating everyone with her jokes and stories. She was always laughing and teasing with everyone she met from a grocery store line or her exercise class she dearly loved. Sandra also had a love of antiques and decorating. She loved to rearrange furniture on a regular basis and had a keen eye to repurpose antiques for great use.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 2 to 4 o’clock at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Graveside services will be Sunday, November 27, 2022 at 1 o’clock at Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mount Vernon Hwy., Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
