Sam and I are saddened to hear of the passing of your 
Dad.  You Mom and he were some of the first people we met when we moved to Donelson, Tn in 1967.  We were also fortunate to be next door neighbors.
We are sending our Prayers to all of you tomorrow.  Sorry we can't attend the services.

Gene was one of my all-time favorites.  He was full of energy, always 100% engaged.  No matter what the situation or circumstance, Gene never exhibited uncertainty, fear – and never, ever lacked confidence.  He met people easily, with a twinkle in his eyes and a quick smile.  If he thought something, he'd tell you – no sugar coating from “The General”.  He liked people, cared about them and was lots of fun to be around.  Over the years, as I've thought about Gene I always do so with a smile on my face – he was truly one of a kind.

Gene will be remembered fondly by the Simon family, he was dear to our mother, Ann Chatham, and to us, and was one of the good ones...he will be missed. Prayers go out for Gene's family

Gene was involved in hiring me at Liberty along with Paul Cope and Barney Holt as a rookie sales rep at Liberty in 
Charlotte in 1981. Gene 
always told he picked my 
name out of "shoe box" at the
recruiters office. That was a hoot and something I will always remember. Gene was the ultimate salesman and I always had the utmost respect for him. 
He was one of the greats at Liberty. Even though I have not seen him in many years I have very fond memories of him.

Gene hired me 40 years ago and although I'm no longer with Liberty, I have such fond memories of him.  He was a great manager, mentor and inspiration to us all.  He will be sorely missed as one of the "good guys" at Liberty Mutual.  My sympathies to the family and my old friends.

Scott & Gina-We will always remember all the fun times we shared with your folks here in Village Mill. Know that we all are thinking of you both during this sad time-with love and sympathy-Bill & Gene Schuh

Scott and Gina,  I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Webb's passing.  Please take comfort that he is at peace now .  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. 

I am proud to have known Mr. Webb  since the 70's and when I lost my job due to restructuring in the mid 90's he was the first person that said "don't worry Currie I'll find something for you" and he did.  I will never forget this. He could be tough when needed but was always fair and respected by everyone.....a legend! 

I wanted to come to pay my respects to him, but unfortunately we've had a death in the family and his funeral is at 2:00 on Monday as well.  Since it is up in Blue Ridge, I will be unable to attend, but please know that all of you will be in my thoughts....again, my deepest sympathy.

Scott, we are so sorry to hear of your father's passing away.  It was a pleasure to have him with us at family gatherings.  He was always smiling and it was a joy to know him.  We will miss him very much.

Gene Webb :“ Leadership, Energy, Inspiration, Example
I have known Mr. Webb for 25 years and it was an honor to report to him for 16 years.  He was a bundle of energy who lead by example, enjoyed work, and made all a part of his many success.  A story about Mr. Webb that I told at his retirement from Liberty Mutual tells much about him.  A few years prior to his retirement, there was a reorganization at Liberty Mutual.  Speaking with the Southern Division National Sales Account Executives, their chief concern was not whether their office location would change necessitating a move; rather it was whether they would still have the privilege of reporting to Mr. Webb.  He will be missed by all.

Gene and I worked together for many years at Liberty Mutual.  He had a terrific relationship with his customers and his co-workers.  I will remember his professionalism, his ready wit and his great sense of humor.

My deepest sympathy to Gene's family. I'll always remember the times we spent together at Liberty.

Scott and Gina, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.  Mr. Webb was one of a kind and will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Gene hired me right out college with my first real sales job with Liberty Mutual in Nashville.
Even though, I was a veteran and had some other jobs, Gene had all the confidence that I could make an excellent salesmen. He gave with the training that I needed, and he instilled the work ethic that served me well in my insurance career.
I spent 7 years with Liberty, and Gene gave me the skills and the confidence to succeed in the insurance business. Gene made a difference in many lives, and I was always proud to call him my friend.
My prayers are with Gene"s family.
