Christopher Jordan Hill (Chris) went to be with the Lord on Christmas day, Thursday, December 25, 2014, at the age of 35. He was a resident of Sanford, Florida. Chris was born on August 8, 1979 in Atlanta, Georgia, to parents Derrick and June Hill. He also has a younger brother Brandon Hill. Chris graduated from Lake Mary High School in 1997 and attended the University of Central Florida and Southeastern University. Chris had a passion for involvement with youths, growing up in the church and continuing as an adult at the various churches he attended in his life. Often, helping others was more important to Chris than his own needs. Chris was an active member of Grace Church and was loved by many for his involvement and caring for the youth. As he stated many times, "the highlight of my week is my time and involvement with the youth group at church." Just take a gander at Chris's Facebook page and you will see how his light shined for others and the love they had for him in return. Chris never met a stranger and had more "real" friends than could be counted. Chris lived in many places during his life: Atlanta, Ga; Raleigh, N.C.; Lake Mary, Fl; Cape Cod, Ma; and Centreville, Va.; finally ending up in Sanford, Fl. Chris is survived by his parents June, Derrick and brother Brandon, his grandparents Walter and Charley Jordan and many aunts, uncles and cousins, all from Atlanta, Ga. He is predeceased by his grandparents Leon and Ola Mae Hill.
