Clara Fabiano

Clara Fabiano, 98, passed away on February, 27, 2017 at her home in Sanford, FL. Clara was born on April 27, 1918 in Brooklyn, New York to Leo and Esther Cianci. She resided in Brooklyn until after the war when her family moved to Garden City, New York and then to Seaford, New York after her son was born where she resided for over 60 years. In September of 2012 Clara moved down to Florida to be closer to some of her family members. While here she enjoyed reading, walking and had a love of animals, especially dogs. Clara is preceded in death by her husband Albert Anthony Fabiano. She leaves behind her daughter Lee Kaplan and husband Jack, Son Richard Fabiano and wife Jill, her grandchildren Gary Kaplan and Susan Gaunt, Richard Kaplan and Darryl Abrams, Regina Redd and Husband John, Jack Kaplan and wife Moriah, Albert Kaplan and wife Kelli, Gregory Fabiano and wife Jessica and Brian Fabiano. She also leaves behind her great grandchildren Lindsey Latham and husband Bradley, Dylan Kaplan, Gage Kaplan, Sachely Rosado, Austin Kaplan, Destiny Edwards, Grayson Kaplan, Ty Kaplan, Jackie Kaplan, Christian Kaplan, Hayden Kaplan, Brandon Walters, Walter Fabiano, Sydney Fabiano and Ava Fabian and also her great-great-grandchild Isabella Marie Latham. Along with all her grandchildren Clara also leaves behind to cherish her memory her extended family and close friends that she considers part of her family. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel in Sanford, Florida. A service will take place at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel in Sanford, Florida on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donation to be made to the St. Jude's Children Foundation in Clara's honor.
