Evelyn Delois House

Evelyn attended Gadsden public schools and graduated with honors in 1968. She attended Tuskegee Institute in Alabama. Evelyn graduated in May 1972 with Bachelors Degree in Sociology. She began her career at Xerox in Atlanta, Ga. Then on to MeHarry Medical College of Nashville, Tennessee where she worked as the Director of Student Affairs for 11 years.

Evelyn suspended her career to return home and take loving care of her mother during her long illness for 8 years. She then returned to the workforce in 2002 at FBMC where she worked until her death.

Evelyn leaves a legacy of love to her survivors: A big brother, Amos House of Chicago, IL; A baby sister, Patricia Hyler (Larry) of Lake Mary, FL; Nieces, LaTonya and Ne Kia; Nephew, Neil-Anthony; Great nephews, Jaylen, Anthony, and Neil; Great nieces, Devyn and Amelia; And a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins and devoted friends.

Arrangement for cremation has been entrusted to Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home Log into DignityMemeorial.com , Evelyn House, to leave condolences to the family

Memorial Services to be held in Quincy, Florida, July 2nd from 4-7pm, (masks are required and social distancing enforced) at Williams Funeral Home, 1555 Pat Thomas Parkway #850-875-4849.
