Herbert Moody Duffee Jr.

He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 7, 1940. Herbert graduated from Forest Park High School and received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Mercer University Southern College of Pharmacy.

He married Judith Ann Ausley on December 30, 1961. Herbert worked/had a career in Pharmacy and drug store management for Walden Drug Store, SuperX Drugs, RiteAid Drug Stores, Wal-Mart Pharmacy, Winn Dixie Pharmacy and Publix Pharmacies. He was a member of First Baptist Church Orlando for 25 years and then First Baptist of Longwood since late 2021. He had a passion for the Lord, his family, his country, and caring for and helping others.

He is preceded in death by his wife and sweetheart Judy Duffee, his grandson Jonathan Rodriguez Duffee, his father Herbert Moody Duffee,Sr, his mother Eleanor Day Duffee, his brother Gary Duffee and his sister-in-law Nell Richardson. ,

He is survived by his son Chris Duffee and his wife Lucy, son Scott Duffee and his wife Delia, daughter April Zimmer; grandchildren, Jashua Rodriguez Duffee and his wife Nya, Sarah Zimmer-Schmidd and her husband Jeremy, Emma Zimmer Wiesner and her husband Spencer, Jake Zimmer, Joel Duffee, and Noah Duffee, and great grandchildren Arianna, Ani, and Javon.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 am - 11:00 am on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Longwood, 891 E State Rd 434, Longwood, FL 32750, followed by a celebration of life service at 11:00 am. Private inurnment will follow in Oaklawn Park Cemetery.
