

She was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico on July 31, 1941. Isaura graduated and received her High School diploma from Eugenio Maria de Ostos in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.
She was married to Juan Antonio Martinez on July 9, 1966.
Isaura, also known as Chara, loved God, her family and friends, and her dog Coquito. She also loved coffee, hummingbirds, orchids, and the color blue. Her favorite baseball team was the Chicago Cubs. During her younger years, she loved to garden and play baseball. She also loved to travel and enjoyed theme park rides, especially roller coasters! During the 70' and 80's, she was awarded many bowling league trophies. She was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista de Orlando and was known for her humor and delicious food.
She was survived by her husband, Juan A. Martinez, her daughters, Marivel Martinez and Lisa Martinez, as well as her grandchildren: Matthew Paul Corti (wife Lydia Marie), Amaris Gabriela De Leon, Michael Anthony Corti, Elina Marie De Leon, Mark Christopher Corti, and Marisa Gabriela Corti.
A visitation will be held at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, located at 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, FL, 32771, on January 3, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. There will also be a Celebration of Life service on January 17, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Primera Iglesia Bautista de Orlando in Orlando, Florida.
