September 12, 2021 at the age of 79.
Jim is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sandie; his daughter and son-in-law, Christie
and Ben Tannler; his granddaughters, Madison and Makayla; his brother and sister-in-law
Robert and Deborah Dryburgh; his sister and brother-in-law Elaine and Ronald
Anthony.
Jim was born in Wilkinsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 3,1942 to Robert and Margaret
Dryburgh. He graduated from Penn State University in 1965 with a degree in Chemical
Engineering and began his 30 year career at Firestone Tire and Rubber in Akron, Ohio.
Upon leaving Firestone, Jim was an executive consultant for multiple organizations.
He ended his career owning Holz Rubber Company in Lodi, California.
Jim was a devoted husband, father, Papa, brother and Uncle. He loved golfing,
traveling with his wife and spending the summers with his family at Geneva-on-the-
Lake, Ohio. For many years he cheered on the Nittany Lions. Jim also loved his
Pittsburgh Steelers and shared this love with his family.
