    So sorry to hear of the loss of your husband, father & grandfather.we only met him a few times when Stacy was getting married, but realized pretty quickly what a really nice & happy person he was.He just seemed to have a way of making you feel welcome.Stacy I think you may have that same quick wit & kind spirit that your dad had.Wishing all of you God's peace at this unbelievably difficult time.  I am very fortunate to have worked with John through the many years at Southeastern Container.  He was a pleasure to work for and he will always be remembered as a wonderful person.   I clearly remember when I first met John as if it happened yesterday.  He came up to the Hudson, New Hampshire plant to help with the start up there in the early 1990's.  That evening we went to a pizzeria of his choice.  Even though I hadn't known him for more than one day, he made me feel as though I had known him all my life.  That evening I don't think I had ever laughed so hard.  His sense of humor was like no other.  John was very proud of his family and would often talk about all their accomplishments and how proud he was of them.   My deepest sympathies go out to John's wife and children for their loss.

My prayers are with you Kathi, and your family. I hope you find strength through this difficult time. John was one in a million and will always be remembered

Dawn (AKA Chopper)  John gave me that nickname.

 I have known John for 27 years and I feel very honored to call him my friend.
 But more than that he was like a father figure to me, always willing to share 
 his knowledge, advice, kind words, and yes even a scolding now and then.
 The way John lived his life was a great example for us to follow. John you 
 will be greatly missed but you will remain in our hearts forever. We all know
 that Jesus chose fishermen to be his disciples, now He's calling you John to 
 come fish with them to.

No words can express the loss of John, He was one of the finest and most thoughtful friend you could ask for.. Always had a story to tell and make you laugh. I feel privileged to have known such a wonderful individual as John, and I have greatly valued his friendship for many years. John had the quickest and sharpest wit of anyone I have ever known. He was kind and helpful to others, especially in times of need. I loved his story telling, ability to make others smile and laugh; and his passion for fishing, great Italian food, and having super good times with family and friends that created some awesome memories. I am so lucky to have had the pleasure of knowing such a great person all these years. John was a wonderful mentor and friend who will be deeply missed. My fondest memory of John is his great big personality. He was always there to guide you in the right direction if you ever had a question. I started working with John in the early 90's as a first time plant manager.  John was always a great friend and advisor in those years and remained so until the end of his career at Southeastern Container.  My thoughts and prayers are with Kathy, John's children and granddaughter.  John was one of the "good guys" and a friend if you wanted that.  He will be missed by everyone he knew.

I met John at SEC.  He was a great man who was always smiling and having fun.  Although I've been gone from SEC for many years now I still have many memories of John that I will always cherish.  My condolences go out to the family during this difficult time.

I met John through SEC, he was a wonderful person and friend. He had a big personality and was fun to be around. He was always helping people in need. That was John. I missed him when he retired, but knew he was doing what he loved best, fishing and family.He will be greatly missed. My sincerest condolences to his family.

John was one of the best people I hired when we started one of the first soft drink container plants. Without him our enterprise would not have been as successful as it was.This success continued when we moved on to SEC. John was my mentor, friend, boss, and teacher. He will be missed and I hope he finds the trout still biting. My sincerest condolences to his wonderful family that he loved so completely.

I met john and his family through one of my best friends who went way back with him in business. His great energy was so overwhelming,  I'll never forget that feeling when I met him in my restaurant.
I'm sure he will be missed by many.

It was truly a gift and an honor to be one of John's friends. I knew I could always count on him for support and no matter how bad of a day I was having, he could always make me laugh. I will cherish all the great memories I have of John. I miss him already. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
