Patricia June Saylor (Pat) left us way too soon on March 3, 2023. She departed for a new life in heaven a few minutes before midnight, at peace and surrounded by her loving family. She is now happily reunited with her own mother, Bertha, and her sweet grandson, Jason.
She is survived by so many who love her and miss her deeply. Her husband, Tom, who was her best friend, fellow adventurer, and love of her life. Her one and only daughter, Sheila, who will always carry her in her heart forever. Her grandchildren, Chrissy (JD) Latta and Justin Mullins, who had the best grandmother they could ever hope for. Her great grandchildren Aidan, Connor, and Mary Millwood; Harley Mullins; Ella and Henry Latta. She absolutely adored and loved each one of her “babies” and was always reminding them of her love for them and how “special” each one was.
She is also survived by so many others who loved her dearly: her son-in-law (Charlie), her sister (Judy), her brother (Huey), and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was a force, a beauty, and the life of the party. She was a gorgeous and loyal wife, a very devoted mother, an affectionate and loving grandmother. Her laugh could be picked out of a room full of laughter. The memory of her face always comes with a stunning smile. She would beat you in cards and emphatically deny ever cheating. She could make you laugh until your belly hurt. She would turn every head when she walked in a room. She could outcook any woman and out fish any man. She knew how to dress and wasn’t afraid to flaunt it. She was the most fun on family nights and the last one to turn in at night. She was so many things to her family; she could have lived 3 more lifetimes and it wouldn’t have been enough. She did not see herself as perfect, but we feel she was perfect in every way. She leaves a hole that can never be filled, and we only hope she can see and feel how much she is loved and missed.
We love you Pat, Mommy, Grandma Pat…always and forever,
Your loving family
