Richard was born in Stuttgart, Germany, on a U.S. military base, and went on to build a life marked by dedication, hard work, and deep love for his family. In 2000, he married Sandra, the love of his life, and together they shared a deep and enduring bond.
Richard was a proud father and stepfather. He is survived by his children: Richard Dean Keesee II, Courtney Lynn Keesee, and Laura Kathryn Beauregard; and his stepson, Bradley Royce Jones. He was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Cristina Nicole Jones, stepdaughter, Georgette Keesee, mother, Rexel E. Keesee, father, John Keesee, brother.
Known to his grandchildren as “Popop,” Richard cherished his role as a grandfather. He leaves behind four beloved grandchildren: Abigail Grace Keesee, Elizabeth Pearl Keesee, Wyatt Harold
Beauregard, and Colton Dean Beauregard. His love, encouragement, and gentle presence will be deeply missed by each of them.
Richard was a Christian and did his best to follow God’s teachings in the way he lived, loved, and cared for others. He was devoted to his family and active in his children’s lives—serving as a Boy Scout leader, soccer coach for his kids, and a drummer who brought music and joy to many gatherings.
A successful businessman, Richard enjoyed his career in sales. He also owned and operated a bicycle shop and took great pride in helping families and riders find the perfect bike. In the last
ten years, he enjoyed working at Lowe’s, where he loved helping customers with their projects and getting to know his coworkers. A talented woodworker, Richard spent countless hours doing carpentry projects at home, building and fixing things with care and craftsmanship.
