With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Anna Marie Miller, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Anna left this world on March 3, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and unforgettable home-cooked meals.
A devoted homemaker, Anna’s life was a testament to kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family. She found her greatest joy in the simple moments—gathering around the kitchen table, sharing stories, and making sure no one ever left hungry. Anna was the devoted and loving wife of Tom Miller, with whom she built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. She was not only a mother to her daughters, Linda Miller, Jude Juris (with husband John Juris) and Kathy Miller, but also a cherished grandmother to Justin Juris, Jana Matlock (with husband Sean Matlock) and Jewel Autry (with husband Sean Autry). Her great-grandchildren—Ean, Arrow, and Aria Matlock, along with Jailyn, Braden, Anabelle, and Ava Autry—knew her fondly as Grandma GG, a name that will forever be spoken with love.
Anna’s heart extended beyond her family. She had a deep love for children and a compassionate spirit for animals. In her honor, the family invites those who wish to remember her to supportOperation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.) and DAWG (in support of orphaned animals). Links for donations can be found below.
A memorial service to celebrate Anna’s life will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Park on March 21, 2025, at 10:30 AM. For those unable to attend in person, live-streaming services will be available here: https://www.youtube.com/live/3uGvAl0f7kk
Anna’s kindness, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. While we grieve her passing, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace, watching over us with a warm smile—perhaps from a kitchen filled with the comforting scents of her famous cooking.
Rest in love, dear Anna, Nana, GG. You will be forever missed and endlessly cherished.
For directions to the cemetery, please note that the only entrance is off of Fairhaven Avenue. Using "Waverley Chapel" as the destination does help at times to give a more direct route to the cemetery. Sometimes, GPS does try to send you to East Santa Clara Avenue - there is not an entrance on this street. Please do not go to that street. You cannot cross over from Santa Ana Cemetery to Fairhaven Memorial Park.
If you need assistance at all finding the service, please call the main Fairhaven Memorial Park Mortuary office line at 714-633-1442 and the receptionists are available to help.
