Ardith and I are first cousins and met for the first time in 2010! We discovered some similar family traits and hit it off right from the start! I stayed at her and Mike’s house with our Aunt Carol a few years later! We talked about family memories and so enjoyed the short time we spent together! I’ve been reading all of the wonder comments that everyone has written and am proud to call Ardith my cousin! Rest In Peace my loving cousin!!!❤️💙🤗🙏

Ardith was the tutor of my two sons, Strider and Sebastian Stade.. she played a tremendous role in my sons success and love for school. She tutored them both for 7 years and every week Strider would walk her out to her car when she left. We considered her like family and are so thankful for her influence in my sons lives. We love you Ardith and every time I’m at the beach walking, I think of you with a smile knowing you loved Newport El and the students there whole heartily.. we feel so lucky to have had your love in our lives and send your family love in these times.

I met Ardith at 12 years old (7th grade).
I was new to the area and it was the first day at Willard jr. High school. I couldn't get my locker open and dropped my pencil😁 Ardith picked it up and handed it to me. We both started giggling and
we became instant friends. She introduced me to Lori and the three of us became inseparable. Ardith was riding her bike and fell off and broke her leg, and had to use crutches. UNBELIEVABLY I broke my leg a short time later while skate boarding with Lori. It was hilarious that best friends had broken legs at the same time and hobbled on crutches together. We had all the same classes, some on the 3rd floor. Don't know how we managed.
We shared a million laughs and many fun times. She had a sparkling personality and a Beautiful Heart.
I am so very Blessed to call her friend for 56 years. I love you Ardith and miss you. She left behind a multitude of people who adored her ,especially me.
XO XO XO to Mike,Bret,Brian❤

I met Ardith at Playmates Preschool in 1972/73. Ardith and I became instant friends and our friendship grew and we became more like sisters We had so much fun and sometimes included Mike in the fun. 😊 while Mike was off on hunting trips we took a trip to Catalina a time I’ll never forget. After I moved out of the area we would meet for beach days. 😎
Ardith’s love was so unconditional and she cared so deeply for her family and friends. A beautiful person inside and out! I feel so blessed to be a part of Mike and Ardith’s family. I’ll treasure the memories I have of my times with The Benzmiller family forever❤️ Such a special family to me!
My deepest condolences to you Mike,Bret, Brian and family.
My love to you all ❤️

Ardith was my first friend when I moved to Newport Beach. She and her family were so nice to this Illinois transplant. We enjoyed going to listen to a garage band near my house and she introduced me to the other kids in the neighborhood. I will never forget her kindness and I’m so glad we got back in touch with each other several years ago. I know you are missed and loved by so many people... and I am one.

Ardith was so easy to talk to. We traveled together several times and had so much fun. The best was shopping at thrift stores, she always found the best stuff. I will always miss her.
