

She was born on July 7, 1944 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Daughter of Francis Paul and Ethel Mary Jenczyk. Eileen attended Catholic school and graduated from Cambridge High School at age 16. During this time, she worked at the Harvard University Co-Op. When she was 19, she moved to Southern California to be closer to her sister. Once in California, she worked in the banking industry and as a bookkeeper. Eventually this led Eileen to be interested in tax preparation, a career she practiced for over 40 years. Eileen was licensed as an Enrolled Agent with the IRS. Eileen made lifelong friends with many of her clients.
Eileen enjoyed spending time with family and friends, tending her garden, traveling, cooking, and collecting antiques. She also loved animals, adopting and caring for many dogs, cats, and chickens over the years.
Eileen is survived by her sister, Carol Klein (m.James Klein); brother, William Jenczyk Sr. (m.Adele Jenczyk); nieces Robin Wells and Karen Gallo; nephews Brian Klein and Greg Jenczyk; and many great nieces and nephews.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ethel Jenczyk; brother, Frank Jenczyk; Brother-In-Law, James Klein; Nephews, William Jenczyk Jr. and Daniel Jenczyk.
Eileen will be remembered for her sense of humor, her determination, and her love and compassion for others.
Services will be held on February 25, 2025, 11:00am, at Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana, California. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eileen’s name with the American Lung Association, and/or the Humane Society of Orange County.
