Juan was one of the first students I met after becoming a campus minister at the University of Arkansas St Thomas in 2009. He was a natural leader and committed Catholic, engaged in so many dimensions of the ministry - bible studies, social events, praise and worship, Eucharistic adoration, retreats, stations of the Cross, Sunday dinners, Mass, peer ministry team. Juan was one of those guys who was always there - and always brought others with him. I hadn’t talked to him in some years, but I will never forget him. May God’s consoling peace be with you as you mourn the loss of a wonderful and faithful man taken from us far too young. May the souls of the faithfully departed Rest In Peace and God’s loving embrace.
