Malcolm was a WWII Navy veteran who served in Guam guarding POWs and as a Gunner's Mate 3rd class onboard the USS Helena. Following WWII, he settled in Southern California where he completed vocational training to become a sheet metal worker remaining in that industry for decades until his retirement.
Mal was proceeded in death by his wife, Beverly. Malcolm is survived by his son, Paul, daughter, Sharon, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter.
He actively supported the Boy Scouts of America, serving in different positions over many years. Malcolm loved God’s creations, his family, his friends, nature, taking pictures, driving through Silverado Canyon, and his cats. He also loved smiling, eating breakfast with friends, meeting people, sharing stories, and exercising his great sense of humor.
