Mark was a beacon of light to everyone who knew him. His courage, stamina and persistence with his long battle of cancer was nothing short of heroic.
The love, care, companionship and encouragement from Julia, Megan, his family, friends, neighbors and church, only shows what a good man he was. This kind of support comes only through a true unselfish love.
God bless Mark. Give him the peace, rest, joy and light in heaven which he so deserves.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Mark was such a special person. Although I was the younger brother of his friend Martin, Mark was always inviting and welcoming.  I’ll never forget the time he showed me his van with that unbelievable sound system. My hair was literally dancing from the vibrations of the music! Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time.

Mark was many things to me.  He was a serious, contemplative man at times.  Always kept himself level while others at times let emotions go.  He was the steady keel.  He had an optimistic outlook and always strived in life to be better.  He had the look of an All American, and once in a while his wild side came out and you got to see the kid inside of the man.  I had the honor to spend many many  fun times in my youth with Mark and those memories will sustain me during this difficult time. He shall live forever in my heart and soul and is present in my memories.  God Bless you Mark and all who loved him.

RIP Bro. I wish I could have spent more time with you in life but you have been with me forever. You left a lasting impression on me. My deepest sympathies to Julia and Megan.

I along with everyone who was blessed to know mark will miss him terribly 😞I will miss his texts calling me special K, I will miss his amazing intellectual posts on Facebook and just his kind gentle presence! I am so very sorry Julia, Megan and family for this painful loss. I love you all and pray for your peace and comfort knowing mark will always be your angel watching over you🙏

I’m so sorry to hear this as I’ve never known someone like Mark who fought so hard and  never lost hope. He had such a thirst for knowledge and loved sharing it with others to give them a sense of peace and trust that a higher power does prevail in our unknown universe & to never give up on life.
