Ms. Mary Margaret Haley

With love and gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we remember Mary Margaret Haley—a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew her.

Mary Margaret was born on July 12, 1931, in Banner, Iowa, to Francis Frank Laehle and Elizabeth Hoelker. She spent many of her years in Sioux City, Iowa, where she met the love of her life, Richard Orem Haley.

She was the beloved wife of Richard until his passing in 1994. Together, they built a life rooted in love and family, raising three children who remained her greatest pride: Steve Haley, Lynn Loveless, and Sharon Haley Zone.

In 1989, Mary Margaret moved to Temecula, California, where she found happiness in the beauty of wine country. She had a love for wine, travel, and the special moments spent with family. Whether sharing coffee, playing dominoes, or simply enjoying time together, she created lasting memories filled with laughter and love.

She will be remembered most for her gentle spirit, kind heart, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was a proud grandmother to Renee Mendoza, Jennifer Haley, Alyson Haley, Stephanie Haley, and Matthew Zone, and a cherished great-grandmother to Daniel Mendoza, Haley Mendoza, Alexis Mendoza, Madison Rowley, Brody Gardner, McKenzie Rowley, Blake Rowley and Landon Rowley.

Mary Margaret’s legacy lives on in the family she loved so deeply. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
