Michael Marquez

Michael Marquez was born on May 30, 1976, to Ygnacio and Rosario Marquez in Santa Ana, California, where he was raised. Michael passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 49. He was a resident of Riverside, California.

Michael was married to Yvonne Marquez and is survived by his children: Michael Jr., Joseph, Brianna, Raylene, Gabriel, and Savannah; his siblings: Lisa, Yvonne, and Marissa; his grandchildren: Mila, Avianna, Grey, Damian, Amira, and Ivy; and his mother, Rosario Marquez. He was preceded in death by his father, Ygnacio Marquez.

Michael had recently achieved a milestone in his life, graduating as a certified substance abuse counselor. He was deeply passionate about helping others on their journey to sobriety, offering guidance, compassion, and hope to those in recovery. A devoted fan of the San Francisco 49ers, Michael’s enthusiasm for his team was unmatched. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and camping, and found joy with the family barbecuing, dancing, listening to good music, and enjoying his favorite beer, Budweiser. His vibrant spirit, love for life, and the laughter he brought to every gathering will be deeply missed.
