Natividad Rios, also known as Nat, was born December 25, 1925, in the city of Sweetwater, Texas. He was one of 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
He passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, at 4:05 AM in Huntington Beach, California surrounded by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his son Leonard Rios, his daughter Mercy de Leon, 13 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, and 10 great, great, grandchildren. What many friends admired about Natividad, was his great love for family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Antonia, his eldest son Natividad Rios Jr., and eldest daughter Anita Arreola.
For over 35 years, Natividad worked as a hod carrier and plasterer. He retired in 1988 from Laborers Local 652 in the city of Santa Ana.
Nat was an avid outdoorsman. He loved camping, hunting and fishing. He traveled all the way to Colorado to hunt, and he fished in several states and Mexico.
He was also a man of faith and enjoyed sharing his testimony whenever possible. He came to Christ at a special service for his mom, Jesusita Salinas, in the month of October of 2010 at Templo Calvario Church.
