Born and raised in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles, California, Richard attended John Marshall High School, where he played Basketball and Tennis. Richard received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and was a member of the Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity.
Richard was a partner at JW Lewis Industrial Real Estate Firm and a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. After retirement, Richard enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, and playing tennis.
Richard was predeceased by his wife, Norma, and his sister, Susan, and is survived by his sons, Christopher and Eric, and his grandson, Brian.
A committal service will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Park, located at 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA, 92705. The service is scheduled for March 6, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
