I used to be a regular and Disneyland and got to know Bob well over many years.  Since I moved to Iowa we had exchanged Christmas cards.  I was so sad to receive my card back marked deceased.  I have an empty spot in my heart with the loss of Bob.  I will never forget him and our many conversations.

Sadly we just found out about Bob's passing.  We have known him over many years of going to Disneyland and his grace, sense of humor, dedication and kindness is unequaled.  Bob epitomized the best of the park and of Walt's dream.  My condolences to his family and friends.

Bob was very special to me and my family. We met him many years ago when he worked for Disneyland and he always treated my family as we were his own. On our last visit last month, we learned of his passing. I'm so upset about his passing. God bless you in Heaven Bob.

There are no words which can fill the emptiness left by Bob's unexpected passing.  We offer our prayers, for strength and unity for the Rhodes family and friends.

My loving thoughts and prayers go out to Randy and Bob's family. He truly was a gem of a person. I feel so blessed to have worked at Disneyland with Bob in the past. He was just like a big brother to me. My heart aches now, but I will live on with the wonderful memories. Love and hugs, Liz

We enjoyed Bobby's friendship, wit, and charm for over 35 years.  He was one of the best food servers at Disneyland.  He was always positive and cheerful even when he was dealing with a challenging or stressful situation in his personal life.  We received a Christmas card from Bobby on December 3 and he told how he was planning to retire in a year or two.  We were deeply saddened when we learned of his passing just two days later.  We take comfort in remembering the good times we had with Bobby and in knowing that he is now free of pain and cares and with the Lord.

I was deeply saddened by the loss of Bob. I always remembered working with him at Carnation Ice Cream Parlor in the early 90's. He was very funny.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Randy, Bob's family, and all of the cast members who worked with him.  

I wished I could be at the funeral but I live too far away from Santa Ana now to just drop by.  But I'm with you though I'm across the miles in Oregon.

I got to know Bobby over the years when I had my annual pass and went on a weekly basis.  I always had breakfast at Carnation Café and Bobby was always my waiter.  Seeing him and talking to him was the best way to start my day at the 'Land.  He was like family to me and will be greatly missed. We loved spending "Breakfast with Bob" and met many other like minded people who he always took great care to make everyone feel special. We will miss him profoundly and loved his wood work.  We grieve with you, Randy.
