Mr. Ronald Williams of Orange, California departed this life at 5:00am Wednesday, September, 30, 2020 of natural causes.
Ronald was born on May 30, 1953 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Margaret Grey and the late Will Williams. He was a graduate of Central High School, attended the Indiana University, at the South Bend Campus and graduated from Los Angeles Harbor College. In South Bend, Indiana he served several years as the city accountant under the honorable Mayor Peter J. Nemeth. As a young man, he adventured west to Wilmington, California. Where he found employment as an accountant for the Los Angeles Urban League. Ronald then worked for the United States Postal Office in Los Angeles for 17 years.
Ronald was raised as a Catholic but accepted Jesus as his savior in the Holiness Church of God in Christ. The first time he actually felt the presence of the Lord at the Holiness Church of God in Christ in Santa Ana, it frightened him. The second time at the Light of the World Church of God in Christ, he welcomed the move of the Holy Spirit and he said he actually enjoyed the service. He worked faithfully with his lovely wife, Saidell who is the performing arts writer appointed by the church founder Superintendent W.A. Smith. Ron was her executive producer. In addition to filling roles in her plays, he helped build props, run errands and enjoyed helping with refreshments. Ron was an excellent father and spouse, no pains assisting with raising and caring for their grandchildren who were left orphaned by the tragic death of their mother on Christmas day in 2011.
Ron is predeceased by this mother, Margaret Grey, father, Will Williams, grandmother, Nanny Grey brother, George Grey and daughter Zazell D. Preston.
Those who are left to cherish his memory include his wife, Lady Lledias Llibwen, aka Saidell Preston, who was his friend since he was 5 years old and the mother of his youngest son Marchant Eduiamond. His wife’s mother, Sallie Baker who Ron said was more of a mother to him than a mother-in-law. His son, Corey Williams, who was his faithful barber for many years, son, Damian York, son, Marchant Eudaimond and daughter Ashaki Nichols. His grandchildren, the children of his late daughter Zazell Preston; Zyianna Preston, Velice Lewis and Marcel Emari. Ron and Saidell have raised Zyianna, Velice and Marcel since their mother’s passing. His grandchildren, the children of his son Marchant Eudaimond and wife Nikki; Aria Eudaimond, Saija Eudamond, Saihara Eudamond and Sasha Eudamond. His grandchildren, the children of his daughter Ashaki Nichols; Paris Broadus, Heavyn Broadus and Trinity Broadus. His grandchildren, the children of his son Damian York; Bryce York and Maya York and his granddaughter, the daughter of his son Corey Williams; Gracie Williams. Ron is also survived by his great grand children and hosts of family and friends.
