Stephen David Paquette

Stephen Paquette went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at his home in Newport Beach, CA. He was born on January 15, 1952 in Hollywood, California. He was a Vietnam Veteran who proudly served his country in the Army First Cavalry. Steve went on to own a Goodyear Tire in Tustin, California for several years, and then Big Island Recovery in Hawaii. Even while enjoying his retirement, his last career venture was as founder and co-owner of Divorce Mediation of California. Steve was predeceased by his father Paul, his sister Cindy and brother Paul "Packy". Steve is survived by his beloved, Lisa and their daughter, Lexi, his grandson Luke, his mother Ava, and his siblings, Nan, Joe, Patty, John, Mike and Todd.

Steve had many interests including cars, traveling, reading, boating and riding his collection of Harley Davidson motorcycles. Steve was a friend to any and all who met him, and was always willing to lend a hand to help the people he loved.

A private graveside service for family will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Park. A Celebration of Life will be held for all of those who loved Steve on March 25, 2022 at the Newport Beach location of the American Legion from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made in Steve’s honor to the giver’s charity of choice to benefit veterans, dogs or those in recovery.
