Thomas Hitchcock 77, of Hesperia California died peacefully March 31, 2019. Tom was the older of two sons born to Robert and Harriet Hitchcock one year after the commencement of World War II. In his formative years, he grew up with his younger brother “Bob” in Altadena California. After completing his high school education, he joined the U.S. Navy and served aboard a destroyer escort which served during the Viet Nam war. Following his tour of duty and his honorable discharge from the Navy he joined the telephone company where he worked until his retirement. His Marriage to his longtime girlfriend, Maureen Koback, produced two children, son Craig Hitchcock and daughter Shannon Hitchcock (Ennis). Tom is survived by and son, daughter and grandson Sean Ennis. Private services and burial will occur at Fairhaven Mortuary on April 12, 2019. Tom will be missed by all who knew and loved him. “Death Leaves A Wound That No One Can Heal, Love Leaves Us Memories That No One Can Steal.”
