Albert “Sunny” Erickson passed away December 16 ,2015. He was a long time resident of Santa Clara California. Albert was born in 1923 in Minnesota and spent his early years in Colorado. In 1938 he and his brother joined their mother and sister in San Jose. He met the love of his life the day he arrived, and they enjoyed 49 years of happily married life. Albert enjoyed a long career as a Master Mechanic and was a proud member of the Operating Engineers Union. He was a WWII veteran serving in England. Over the years Al had many hobbies; motorcycle riding, wine making, lapidary, and making wind chimes. Al is survived by his daughter Sheree (Paul) Bloomberg of Montague Ma, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife Meda Fae, his sisters Helen and Jean and brother Clarence. Funeral services will be Tuesday Dec. 29, 2015 at 12PM at Lima Family Santa Clara, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara. Interment to follow at Mission City Memorial Park.
