Betty Aggergaard Downey passed away peacefully at home on August 29, 2012. Betty was born to Peter & Sarah Aggergaard on September 15, 1923 in Irene, SD. She attended High School and Augustana College in Sioux Falls prior to marrying William J. Downey on August 10, 1944.
Betty was predeceased by her husband Bill in 2002. They are survived by their children (Dina & David Downey), their son and daughter in laws (Jim Battle & Shinobu Downey), two granddaughters (Sheri & Sarika) and one great grandson (Shawn).
Betty will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She will be laid to rest on October 11, 2012 with her loving husband at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, CA.
