German class wouldn't have been the same without Brian Beasley. He was upbeat, funny, and a genuinely nice guy. Like many others who have signed the guest book, I knew Brian from high school years at Monta Vista. I was surprised to read that he had passed and am so sorry for the Beasley family's loss.

Very sorry for your tragic loss. I have known Brian, since little league baseball days.In high school Brian and played both football and baseball together.This was quite an accomplishment, for there was only a hand full of us to do so. He will always be in my heart.

i have been sad since i read about brians passing.  i went to junior high and high school with brian.  He was a very friendly,funny guy! he was a star!  brian will always be a shining star and he will always continue to touch people,  The family has been in my prayers since the news.  Words cannot express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. I feel terrible I only found out about Brian's passing last night and missed his Celebration of Life.

Brian had the biggest heart and was filled with more joy and life than anyone I've ever met. You couldn't help but feel good when you were around him. Always laughing with a funny story to tell or even the funny faces he would make.

 I remember meeting Brian when he moved into our neighborhood in Santa Clara while attending SC University. He was 21 and I was a 17 year old teenage mom living outside the "normal" life of my friends. We became fast friends and he took me under his wing making me feel "normal" and loved. He was like a big brother to me, dragging me and my baby, Alex, along with him everywhere he went. He was easy to be with. There were times we just hung out and watched silly t.v. shows together like Zorro, The Lone Ranger and Leave it to Beaver. He loved those shows. I learned a lot from Brian about life and friendship in those years and cherished our friendship. 

I remember Brian telling me about you soon after you met. I could tell he had found his soul mate in you and I was so happy for him. Then you went on to have such a beautiful family together. I looked forward every year at Christmas seeing the latest Beasley photo. It made me happy to know he was happy.

To this day, I have repeated to my own children a funny saying Brian used to say to me... "Inch by inch life's a cinch; yard by yard life is hard." Those words have reminded me of Brian's love of life and positive outlook many times over the years.

I will always be grateful for Brian's hand reaching out in friendship to me at a time in my life when I needed a role model who was loving, strong and dependable to be there. He touched many lives and I feel honored and blessed to have been one of them.

My heart truly aches for you and your girls losing such a great husband, father and friend. My only consolation is knowing Brian lived his life to the fullest and would have no regrets other than not being able to be here longer with all of you.

When we moved to Cupertino, I was pleasured to be the the oldest kid of the family next door. I remember Brain we spent many of hours together, riding bikes, hiking to the Adobe cliff and eating lunch there. Having our Army canteens full of Kool-aid. Remembering when we brought a dead snake home to my mom that was resting wow that was a mistake!! We went to school together from 2nd grade on, walked together played together I remember the endless hours we spent playing basketball on his driveway. We had a fun childhood and I have fond memories growing up with him.We even went to a Harlem Globe Trotters basketball game with his father. Our adult lifes were seperated but his name was brought up many times when thinking of the past. My heart goes out to his Mom,Dad and brother, and his family I never got to meet.When our time comes and the LORD calls, we leave this earth for Paradise that he offers us Brians chance has come!!

Hi Charlene, don't know if you remember me, I was a colleague of Brian's, we met at a Las Vegas show Brian and I worked a couple years ago.  I sent a note earlier, but wanted to share with you a picture sent to me at a Sales Mtg. a while back. As always, Brian had a great way of breaking up the monotony of everyday life.  He will be missed and more importantly remembered....My sincerely condolences.

I didn't know Brian too well.  About a month ago, I signed up to referee a game in Pleasanton with my son as AR. Brian was assigned to be the center ref.  He was a great mentor of us through the game and very polite to us.  A very nice gentleman all around. We will miss him for sure.  Our thoughts and prayers to his family.

Brian, Brian, Brian. I'm selfish, I know, but I have so much to talk to you about. We've been neighbors and friends for 12 years but somehow I never told you how much the Wakaluk's loved you and how important and specical you were to us and all of the rest of the Cedar Crest Chuggers. Your voice, your laugh, your uncanny ability to "always have something to say" (that last quote came from my dad when I told him on Saturday, and was in reference to your peanut gallery comments to the refs at Lady Gael games.He laughed when he said it.) What about that Giant's Orange and light blue flowers don't really go together, or that your tree trimming skills are um, unique, or that you can't use a chain saw in dirt to cut out roots, or that we all still needed you?

In church today you witnessed your Beasley women and countless friends and youth honoring you with stories of laughter and love. I'm sure you were busting with pride at how everyone was so strong. Just like your example to us. Just like you. 

Charlene, Elizabeth, Rebecca... based on what was said today, Brian is so unique and special that he will live on and inspire for at least two generations and probably far beyond. THAT is how big that gentle giant is. What a man, what a leader, what a loss.

Dear Charlene and Family i grew up with Brian knowing him since 6th grade.Played sports with him, had fun with him and most of loved  to be around him he was a special kind of guy.After high school when me and couple of the guys moved to Santa Cruz Brian would be reguler on couch for weekend to surf with us ...... never lost touch with him , even played basketball with him a few yaers back in church league. i will miss my friend but know he is in a much better place ,

I just want to share the pure joy that I have had for 50 year's as Brian's friend. His lose will never go away but knowing that he is with our LORD & SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST brings me relief. The day will come that we will all be with Brian again. I for one look forward to that day! 

We all need to make sure and tell all that we come in contact with that they are special and loved. You just never know who is hurting out there like my dear friend Brian. Brian would want us all to do our best to be there for others and our families.

Words will never help with the lost of your soul mate and best friend. As I do I know your will find that peace and joy again in time knowing that Brian is where we want to be and will be one day. Like I mentioned to your daughters, the same is true a million times over for the LOVE that Brian had for you. His eyes would always be brighter when talking about his wife and best friend. I grew up next door to Brian, and my brother was the same age as he was. Many of the toys I had ended up very "broken in" by the big guys. When Brian was old enough to drive, he shanghaied me and my friend Bill, put us in his Dad's camper and drove us a few blocks away, which seemed like miles, and dropped us off on a hill with no street lights, and  said, "Okay guys, find your way home," and left! When we found our way home, there was Brian waiting for us, laughing, asking us what took us so long? He knew we would make it. And then there was the time he cracked eggs in our mailbox. We got a whoopin' for it from the parents, so we caught a fish and hid it under the seat in his VW. It took him a week to find it! He laughed when he found out it was us. He could take a joke as well he could play one. I have very fond memories of my childhood, and he was a big part of it. I am very sorry for your loss.

Brian and I competed against each other in sports at Kennedy Jr. High in Cupertino. Sorry for your loss but the Grace of Christ Jesus is sufficient we will see him again.

I grew up and went to school with Brian.  My condolences to his family.

My daughters and I were in the YMCA Indian Princess Program with Brian and his daughters many years ago and we've been friends ever since.  I have always admired his commitment to his girls.  He obviously cherished and adored them and nothing made him smile like their laughter.  Boy did he love his little girls!!  He was a great dad, a great man, a great friend.  I will miss him.

Brian was a great neighbor and friend.  Full of life and always made us laugh.  To our kids he was 'Mr. Brian', and hopefully to him we were 'FOBs'.  We love him and miss him terribly.

My cousin Brian and I were "kissing cousins" at about the age of 7 at our grandparents home in Longmont, CO. I just saw him this last August at our family reunion in Longmont, thank goodness, I almost didn't go. Brian was the finest energy I have ever known and I will miss that spirit. Although we have only lived in Dublin for a little over a year, Brian made an impact on me with his outgoing friendly nature and interesting conversation during soccer volunteering times at Dublin High.  He happened to see our family in the grocery store one day and shook my 7 year old's hand.  What he did after that was so indicative of his ability to teach... he took the time to teach my son that first impressions are extremely important and taught him how to shake his hand with more enthusiasm.
