

Carol Reyes-Lozano, born on February 20, 1963, in Mountain View, California, passed away on December 26, 2024, in Istanbul, Turkey. She was raised in Santa Clara by her mother, Adeline, alongside her siblings Angela, Michelle, Robert, and Michael.
Carol excelled academically and athletically during her youth, enjoying softball and basketball. A proud graduate of Buchser High School’s Class of 1981 in Santa Clara, she later dedicated many years to her career at Photronics in San Jose. Known for her love of cleanliness and organization, Carol’s thoughtful and meticulous nature left a lasting impression on those around her.
She married Antonio at Holy Cross Church in San Jose, where they began their life together and raised two children, Rene and Antoinette. In 2001, Carol moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where she lived for nine years. During this time, she embraced a new career path and remained active within her church community. In 2010, she returned to Santa Clara to be closer to her cherished grandchildren: Trey, Emmalena, and Evalyn.
Family was the cornerstone of Carol’s life. She found immense joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren and treasured the moments shared with loved ones. Carol also had a passion for travel and will be remembered for the love and kindness she extended to all who knew her.
A viewing service will be held on January 23, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Lima Funeral Home in Santa Clara. A funeral mass will follow on January 24, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Church in San Jose. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Gilroy at 12:00 p.m.
Carol’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
