Ernest D. Castro Sr. passed away on Monday Sept. 27 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. He was a loving husband, father and proud grandfather. He enjoyed life to the fullest. Ernie was born in Los Angeles, Ca. and grew up in Santa Paula, Ca. he attended Santa Paula High School. He proudly served his country in WWII with the 261st Field Artillery Battalion. After his service he worked as a Millmen for 36 years. Ernest is survived by his loving wife Ernestine, devoted children, Ernest Jr., Pearl, and Frank. Grandchildren Leah, Ricky, Maria, and Frankie all of San Jose. Ernest was the loving brother of Margaret Cisneros, Erma Chappell (deceased) Rose Rubalcaba, Carmen Davis (Deceased) and Irene Webb. He will be missed greatly.
