Frank and I became friends at Formfactor after I saw him wear a Dodger shirt. He was an awesome friend, hard worker, loved and respected by everyone. When he talked about his family he always had a smile. When he talked about his wife you could see the love pour from his heart. The Dodger World Series win is for you Frank. I was in Blue Heaven with you when we won. I am honored to have known him. Rest in Paradise my friend.

I worked with Frank at Read-Rite in Milpitas in 1990's in the very early years of Silicon Valley.
Frank had a very contagious charisma and welcomed people with ease. I am sorry for the late response but just found out by accident.
I enjoyed most his brotherly love, joking around, and integrity that he had.  Nothing but respect  to a personably well adjusted man.

My heart is heavy, I just learned of Frank's passing. I first met Frank at IBM 1980s when hen he was just a teenager.  Later on in the years we worked at the same place called Form Factor. I am in disbelief.  Frank was always so proud of his wife and children. My deepest Condolences to his wife, children and Family

I remember last time I saw frank and Lydia , it was at the yearly Christmas party for the city of San Jose 2019. We had so much fun hanging out and playing white elephant with the party crew . Frank was such a kind man that when I arrived at the party I sat next to  Frank and Lydia and he already had a beer waiting for me . They kept me company while my husband was Santa Claus . I loved how much love he had for his little lady Lydia 🥰 I’am so sad that his life was taken away so young he had so much to live for 😿 may he rest in paradise 🙏 he will forever live in our hearts ♥️ 

So many good memories with Frank... Always ready for a drink, a hug, a laugh. Always ready to help a friend. His love for Lyd and his dedication to his family was inspiring. His loss was senseless and felt so deeply by the people that knew him and loved him. May he Rest In Peace. Gone too soon. March 30, 1969 -  May 17, 2020

My brother and I had a special bond. He was loving, caring, sincere and was always there when I needed him. His family was everything and they will live on with him right by their side.  Thinking of you every day.  I love you so much Frankie.

My Uncle Frankie was simply the best.  He always made us smile and feel loved — even if we hadn’t seen each other in some time.  He inspired me often with his love for running.  One of my fondest memories is the quality time we shared together in Capitola before the Santa Cruz Half Marathon.  Both Auntie Lydia and I ran while our husbands cheered us on.  I remember seeing them at the finish line, and couldn’t help but shed a few tears because he looked SO proud me.  He loved his children, nieces and nephews, and siblings very much.  He was always cheering for us to do and be our best.  

His love for my aunt was also something that my husband and I looked at as an example of how we would like to be.  They were always together — partners, best friends, soul mates.  Always so in love, and always having the best time. 

Though he is no longer with us, he will always be in our hearts.  I find comfort in knowing that he is now in heaven reunited with his father, my Grandpa Cruz, and brother, my Uncle James.  

There are no words to explain how much we love and miss him, but we promise to continue making memories in his honor.  We will always be there for Auntie Lydia, Natassha, and the boys.  Until we meet again, fly on. 

2019 Gilroy Rodeo had a great time with my childhood friend . We grew up together since elementary at River Glen . Frank was my Big Brother Tony Castro best friend . I remember playing baseball, Football on the streets till the lights turned on . We lost contact for a few years but them he moved to Gilroy with his lovely family and we where going out to my events and parties at my house . Man brother we will miss you 

Visitation

Frank is survived by his Mother Elva Silva Ibarra, wife Lydia Ibarra, his son’s Robert, Joshua, Gabriel, and Daughter-in-law Natassha and his 23-month-old grandson Sebastian. 6-siblings, 5 brother in-laws, 3 sister in-laws, 25 nephews/nieces and 9 great nephews/nieces. As well as many family members, friends and colleges.
